The Client

AmiGo is a mobile travel app that connects users with personalized travel recommendations from trusted sources such as bloggers, friends, and their networks. The startup aimed to launch its MVP on the app store and enhance user experience through ongoing optimization and product strategy.

The Goal

AmiGo sought to simplify their app features and prioritize which ones to invest in for its product roadmap that supported its long-term OKRs. Additionally, they wanted a successful MVP launch to the iPhone app store.

The Results

AmiGo achieved a successful MVP launch and has been live on the app store for one year. Their hard work paid off as they are now ranked #63 on the App Store's travel app list. Our team's ongoing UX and product strategy support have informed the development of key features, including the ability for users to plan and book trips with friends and easily share itineraries and costs.

How We Did It

  • Provided ongoing product strategy and UX/UI design support in collaboration with AmiGo stakeholders and in-house designers
  • Implemented weekly product strategy meetings and supported KPI/OKR settings for their product roadmap
  • Conducted user testing and created user flow diagrams for feature development and validation
  • Developed a style guide and brand explorations for app improvements
